What: Illinois Wheelchair Basketball College Tournament 
Where: Activities and Recreation Center, Champaign
When: Games times on Friday, Feb. 8, and Saturday, Feb. 9.
How much: FREE
Appropriate for:  All ages
Why you should go:  The Illini men’s and women’s teams, annually among the best in the country, will compete Friday and Saturday in a rollicking atmosphere at the Activities and Recreation Center. Click here for schedule and details.

What: Ninja Warrior Night at Illini Gymnastics
Where: Huff Hall
When: Friday, Feb. 8, 7:00-9:00 p.m.
How much: FREE
Appropriate for:  All ages
Why you should go:  The Illini women will attempt to break its attendance record with a special appearance by 2008 Olympic silver medalist Samantha Peszek (6-7 p.m.) and a ninja warrior obstacle course for fans after the meet.

What: Argenta Icefest
Where: Prairie Park, Argenta
When: Saturday, Feb. 9, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
How much: FREE, some activities ticketed, food and merchandise for sale.
Appropriate for: All ages
Why you should go:  See live ice sculpting by Olympic Gold Medalists Aaric Kendall and other ice sculpting professionals. Bring the kids and try out all of the ice games. What: Teddy Bear Hospital at Mahomet Public Library
Where: Mahomet Public Library
When: Saturday, Feb. 9, 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Why you should go: Bring your favorite stuffed animal in for a checkup!  Members of the University of Illinois Veterinary Student Outreach Program will check your stuffed friend’s height, weight, and more and answer your questions. For more fun for kids in Mahomet, click here.

What: Indoor Playdate at Illinois Women’s Basketball Presented by Christie Clinic 
Where: State Farm Center
When: Sunday, Feb. 10, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
How much: General admission tickets will be available for purchase for $3.00 at the door.

Why you should go: Join us for an afternoon of fun with Fighting Illini Women’s Basketball on February 10 at 2:00 p.m. as the team takes on the Wisconsin Badgers. Throw on your favorite orange and blue and help us as we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
