Thanks to Champaign Public Library for sponsoring our Weekend Planner.
The Champaign Public Library is celebrating National Library Week for a week and a day! The Physics Van, a visit by Caldecott Honor winner Peter McCarty, and the return of knitter Stephen West and his wild creations, are just some of the 39 events planned for April 8-15. And they have some surprises in store for you when you visit. (Hint: Free rentals, your chance to win a $25 gift card, and more!)
If it is April, that means the calendar is jam-packed! What ISN’T there to do this weekend? From arts to an epic number of Easter Egg Hunts, to area Easter Bunny sightings, this weekend offers up all the Spring time Champaign-Urbana fun! Notice that the campus (and shopping areas) are a little more crowded than usual? It’s also Mom’s Weekend at the University of Illinois, which means many favorite local breakfast and brunch spots will be jam packed with families.
